The Peonies Are Still Blooming

...on our walls that is. We have three beautiful Peony bushes off our our deck and every Summer I'm left wanting a longer blooming season, ten days just isn't enough! So this year I took advantage of the week they were here and captured a few photos.

I took a bit of a darker approach with the Peonies playing against the backdrop of greenery and envision these prints blending into your décor well into Autumn.

The darkness was also intentional as we included a few brighter Hydrangea prints. The Hydrangeas are also from our backyard and while they last longer that ten days I decided to pair them with the Peonies for a mini series.

An interior design friend and I were talking about blue and white décor a few months ago and she mentioned looking for floral prints. Enter the blue background- this one is just for you, classic blue and white lovers! I'm pretty sure chinoiserie and white hydrangeas were made for each other. 

You'll also find one abstract in this series, if you've been around you know there is normally at least one in each series I take. It's the color in this one that got me and I couldn't decide which way was best to flip it for the final product. But, that's what's best about the abstracts- you can make them your own.
